Standalone tool · Switzerland & Liechtenstein

Just billing — TARDOC and Ambulante Pauschalen

Viali TARDOC is the standalone Swiss billing assistant: you describe the treatment in plain language, Viali proposes the exact positions from the official catalogues and produces the QR-bill. Without the rest of the clinic platform.

Free for 14 days — no credit card. CHF 99 per month per practice after that.

What is included — and what is not

    Included

    • Patients and invoices — the app's only two clinic areas
    • The full official catalogues: TARDOC (1,388 positions) and Ambulante Pauschalen (310 positions)
    • Insurance and self-pay invoices, Tiers Garant or Tiers Payant
    • AI position search that never receives patient identity or insurance data
    • A Swiss QR-bill on every validated invoice
    • MediData integration built in — currently in final certification

    Not included

    • OR planning, anaesthesia and perioperative documentation
    • Rostering, working-time tracking and HR
    • Booking, marketing, funnels and rewards programmes
    • One login — team logins start with the Praxis tier

All of that exists in the full Viali platform. See tiers and pricing

    After signing up

    Billing-ready in three steps

Viali walks you through the three details a valid Swiss invoice requires.

    1

    Your tax-point value

You confirm your practice's cantonal KVG tax-point value. Viali proposes the published value — confirm it or overwrite it. That is why signup asks for your canton.

    2

    Your billing identity

Your practice's GLN, ZSR and IBAN. No valid invoice can exist without them — Viali asks once and remembers.

    3

    MediData (optional)

If you want to submit to insurers electronically, request activation from inside Viali. Optional — until then you create, validate and export invoices as PDF or XML.

    AI billing assistant

    Describe it. Viali bills it.

A split-screen editor: the invoice form on one side, the assistant on the other — with a resizable divider. You describe in plain language what was done; the assistant searches the real TARDOC and Ambulante-Pauschalen catalogues, chooses the right tariff system and proposes the exact positions — applied with one click. It never receives patient identity or insurance data.

    Billing models & QR-bill

Tiers Garant or Tiers Payant, with a QR-bill

Tiers Garant: the patient pays the practice and forwards the bill to their insurer — the QR-bill carries the patient as payer. Tiers Payant: the practice bills the insurer directly, with an insurer recipient block and a QR-bill whose payer is the insurer. Every validated invoice produces a standards-compliant Swiss QR-bill payment part; drafts carry a clear "ENTWURF – nicht zur Zahlung" (draft, not for payment) notice.

    Validate & MediData

    Validate and submit electronically

One click: save → validate required fields (practice GLN/ZSR, insurer GLN, tax-point value …) → download the final PDF. If you submit electronically, validated TARDOC and Ambulante Pauschalen invoices go straight to the payer over the MediData network — no paper, no separate MediData software.
